Pi Network has announced the launch of the Pi Hackathon 2025, marking the first major developer challenge since the Open Network went live. The hackathon aims to encourage developers to design and release Pi-based applications that deliver real-world utility and advance the ecosystem, with a total prize pool of 160,000 Pi. Submissions must meet mainnet listing requirements and provide tangible value to the Pi community. The first prize is 75,000 Pi, while the second and third prizes are 45,000 Pi and 15,000 Pi, respectively. In addition, up to five honorable mentions will each receive 5,000 Pi.
