The United States is studying the conversion of gold reserves into #بيتكوين to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
The Trump administration is considering a plan that does not impact the budget to convert U.S. gold reserves into #Bitcoin by re-evaluating gold certificates from $42.22 per ounce to current market prices of approximately $4745 per ounce (, which would enable the use of surplus funds to purchase up to a million ) over five years.
President Trump established the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve under an executive order issued in March 2025, which was initially funded from confiscated assets.
Officials confirm that revaluing gold and tariff revenues are still under consideration, in line with the Bitcoin Act of 2025 introduced by Senator Cynthia Lummis, despite existing legal obstacles.
