It's becoming clearer now—many development teams shipped way too early. Waiting for agentic coding assistants to mature would've saved serious time and resources.

Look at the trajectory: coding agents are getting smarter, video generation tools are leveling up, multimodal AI keeps improving. The pattern is obvious. If you're building something now, ask yourself honestly—will this be faster to develop manually, or should you sit tight and let AI catch up first?

The math changes when you factor in six-month or one-year development cycles. Sometimes lazy beats rushing. Your backlog can probably wait while the tooling catches up. Better infrastructure beats early-mover disadvantage in plenty of cases.

ngl This statement sounds cool, but in practice, it's just gambling. Who dares to really wait for AI to mature? --- There's some truth to it, but it's too idealistic. In reality, investors won't give you the time to "wait for the tools"... --- This logic is flawed. Releasing early and collecting user feedback is much more valuable than just waiting in silence. --- Laziness does win, but only if you survive until the day AI explodes. --- Here we go again, blaming the product manager for rushing the launch; now you're saying it was too early... --- Indeed, many projects are rushed out, just look at how many small teams have gone bankrupt now. --- Thinking it through, this theory works for big companies, but for small startups, it's just waiting to die. --- AI tools are really iterating rapidly, but the problem is, no one knows when they will be considered "mature."

That's really well said. I'm currently facing this pain point. The project rushed to launch two years ago now feels somewhat redundant, as the maturity of AI tools has completely changed.

To be honest, many teams are just short-sighted and profit-driven. The AI tools are experiencing a rebirth, and entering the market now might really be much better than rushing in last year [Laughing]. This time, what are we waiting for to buy the dip?
