〽️The first week of February 2026 brought one of the sharpest sell-off waves for Bitcoin since the 2022 F*X crash. BTC fell approximately 50-52% from its all-time high of $126,000 reached in October 2025, dropping below $60,000 on February 5th (lowest level ~$60,017-$60,062). This was the lowest level seen since October 2024 and resulted in a $2 trillion loss of value from the crypto market.
📋Main Causes of the Crash
The sell-off wave, triggered by a combination of multiple factors, created a classic "deleveraging" chain reaction:
Institutional and whale sales → Massive outflows from spot Bi

In a blink of an eye, we went sub $60K.
Massive correction. In just two weeks, #Bitcoin drops from $98K to $60K.
Now, the 200-Week MA is beneath us, and it's all depending on the coming days/hours.
Given that the hourly candle sub $60K was the largest volume candle, the assumption can be made that we hit the low there, for now.
If prices can rally up slightly, we're going to see a large wick.

The 1h chart is looking spicy. We just saw a solid V-shaped recovery after that nasty dip to the 1.11 zone. It’s showing some real strength and managed to reclaim the 1.40 level pretty fast.
Volume is picking up but we’ve hit a bit of a wall near 1.54. Right now, it’s consolidating.
If we can hold above 1.44, I’m looking for another leg up to test those local highs again.
But if we lose this immediate support, we might be headed back down to fill some of those gaps.
Staying cautious here until the next candle settles.
