Ethereum Fusaka upgrade ushers in a key fork. This BPO fork adjusts the blob data parameters—target count increased from 10 to 14, and maximum capacity raised from 15 to 21. In simple terms, this means Ethereum can carry more temporary data in a single block, further optimizing data availability. For Layer 2 solutions, this is a positive development—costs for scaling solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism will continue to decrease, and network throughput will also improve. From a technical perspective, the blob mechanism itself is designed to address the bottleneck in Ethereum's data layer, and this upgrade is like adding more lanes to the data highway.
