The government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo: The conflict in the city of Goma has resulted in more than 8,500 deaths

Jinshi Data News on February 28th, the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo stated on the evening of the 27th that the conflict between the government army of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the anti-government armed group ‘M23 Movement’ in the capital of North Kivu Province, Goma, has resulted in more than 8500 deaths. The Minister of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kanba, said at a press conference held in Kinshasa, the capital, that over 8500 deceased have been buried, and the conflict has also caused 5597 injuries. Humanitarian aid channels have been opened recently, and some supplies are being transported to Goma and the merch region.
