A union in the United States has filed a lawsuit to prevent Trump from firing federal employees.

On January 30th, Jinshi Data reported that on January 29th, local time, the largest union representing US government employees, the American Federation of Government Employees, filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Washington, D.C. to prevent President Trump from reclassifying up to 50,000 federal employees and making it easier to dismiss them. The lawsuit claims that Trump has no right to deprive federal employees of protection against arbitrary dismissal without adopting formal rules.
