PANews January 13th news, according to Globenewswire, Canadian technology company Matador Technologies Inc. (TSXV: MATA) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of about 29 BTC, with a total purchase price of 4.5 million Canadian dollars in cash. The average acquisition price of these BTC is $96,341 per BTC, including fees and expenses. This acquisition is part of Matador’s long-term strategy, which aims to use BTC as the underlying asset of its funds and the platform for its upcoming digital gold products.
