Bank of America Merrill Lynch: Raises Goldman Sachs' target price to $575, third-quarter earnings per share exceeded expectations
On October 17th, Jin10 Data reported that Goldman Sachs (GS.N) had an earnings per share of $8.4 in the third quarter, surpassing the bank's expected $7.13 and the market's expected $7.39, mainly due to the stronger performance in the Capital Market. Bank of America Securities raised Goldman Sachs' earnings per share estimates for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024 and fiscal year 2025 by 8.7% and 3.2%, respectively, to $8.09 and $41.68, and raised the target price from $563 to $575, with a rating of "Buy".
