Macron accepts resignation of French government

Jinshi data news on July 17th, local time on July 16th, French President Macron announced the collective resignation of Prime Minister Atal and his government, but requested the current government to continue to perform its duties as a caretaker government until the new government is formed. Earlier that day, Atal and government ministers held a cabinet meeting at the Elysee Palace. As the political group he represented did not win a majority of seats in the French National Assembly elections, Atal submitted his resignation to Macron on July 8th. However, Macron asked him to stay on temporarily to maintain stability.
