Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin: ETH may rise 100 times in the future and surpass BTC.
Odaily News Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and CEO of ConsenSys, stated that Wall Street will widely participate in Ethereum staking, validating nodes, and L 2/L 3 development in the future, gradually operating traditional financial businesses on a decentralized track, such as DeFi and smart contracts applications. He pointed out that the notion of L 2 eating L 1 will be broken, referring to the Linea and Proof of Burn models. Lubin believes that the future price of ETH may rise 100 times or even more, ultimately surpassing BTC’s monetary base. He also mentioned that he shares a similar view with Tom Lee but believes that the latter’s expectations for Ethereum’s rise are still not optimistic enough.
