Former British Ambassador: Israel may provoke the United States into war with Iran

Jin10 reported on June 17 that Peter Ford, the former British ambassador to Syria, stated in a commentary on the consequences of the mutual attacks in the Middle East conflict that Israel may provoke and incite direct military intervention from the United States in the war between Israel and Iran. Ford speculated: "I worry that we will soon see an attack rehearsed by Israel, which will then force the U.S. to intervene." Ford pointed out that the current events are only the "second round" of the conflict, with the first round a year ago ending without results. As long as Netanyahu is "still in power and still insists on (striking) Iran," the conflict will happen again. The former British ambassador also believes that the chances of signing a nuclear agreement with Iran are low and will continue to drop.
