Exit polls show Lee Jae-myung winning the South Korean election by a landslide.
Golden Finance reported that at 20 o’clock local time on June 3, the voting in South Korea’s 21st presidential election officially ended, and exit polls were announced one after another. After the vote, the results of exit polls released by the three major television stations of Korea Broadcasting Corporation (KBS), Korea Culture Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), and Seoul Broadcasting Corporation (SBS) showed that Lee Jae-myung, the candidate of the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, will win the election by a landslide that exceeds the margin of error. According to an exit poll by the Korea Culture Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), Lee Jae-myung, the candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, received 51.7 percent of the vote, Kim Moon-so, the candidate of the National Power Party, received 39.3 percent of the vote, and Lee Jun-seok, the candidate of the New Party for Reform, received 7.7 percent of the vote.
