Japanese media: Japan's tariff negotiation representative may visit the United States as early as April 30 to attend the second round of negotiations.

Jin10 data reported on April 23 that Japan’s Minister of Economic Revitalization, Akizawa Ryozo, is likely to go to the United States for the second round of tariff negotiations as early as April 30. The television station cited a source familiar with the negotiation situation, adding that Japan is not yet ready to participate in a package deal for the talks, and Akizawa Ryozo may visit the United States in May. Both sides reached an agreement earlier this month to strive for a second meeting in April.
