Gate News Nachrichten, am 10. März hat das an der NASDAQ gelistete Bitcoin-Tresorunternehmen Empery Digital letzte Woche 102 Bitcoin zu einem Preis von 71.636 US-Dollar pro Stück verkauft und dabei etwa 7,3 Millionen US-Dollar eingenommen, die für Bargeldreserven und Aktienrückkäufe verwendet werden. Dieser Schritt fällt mit der Einreichung von Nominierungen für den Vorstand durch die aggressiven Aktionäre ATG Capital und Tice P. Brown bei der Unternehmensführung zusammen, die Unzufriedenheit mit dem aktuellen Management ausdrücken. Empery hatte zuvor durch den Verkauf von Bitcoin mehr als 20 Millionen Aktien zurückgekauft und plant, bei Bedarf Bitcoin zu verkaufen, um zukünftige Rückkäufe zu finanzieren.
