With the US and Iran issuing statements, geopolitical tensions have eased, and Bitcoin price has broken through $69,000. Major altcoins including Ethereum, Solana, Chainlink (LINK), Cardano, and XRP have risen by 3% to 5%. Data from SoSo Value shows that this rally coincides with Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETF daily net inflows turning positive, at $118 million and $31.17 million respectively. Bitcoin is targeting the $71,500 resistance level, while Solana, despite its strong decentralized application (dApp) capabilities, shows bearish on-chain signals.

ETH recently experienced smaller declines and larger gains. BTC is still following a volatile downward trend pattern, while ETH has already surged close to the high of 2200 points on 3/25, whereas BTC's high on 3/25 was 72,000 points. ETH is currently at 2157 points, just 43 points away from 2200. There is a chance to form a "head and shoulders" pattern. But all of this depends on BTC's movement. If BTC remains volatile at its high, ETH may touch 2200 points. However, if BTC starts to stabilize and decline, ETH will be affected and may decline early. ETH is not only influenced by BTC's trend but also has its own rhythm. In previous years, ETH's volatility was 1.5-2 times that of BTC, but over the past year or so, sometimes ETH's volatility has been less than BTC's. After all, it's an altcoin and still retains the characteristic of larger fluctuations than BTC. Many traders like ETH because its volatility is more exciting and offers higher returns, but the risks are also greater. During normal market conditions, BTC's trend is smoother, and trading ETH can maximize profits. In abnormal market conditions, BTC's trend becomes more chaotic, so caution is advised when choosing ETH. Last October, BTC started a bear market from 126,200 points, and for two consecutive months, ETH contracts were the main trading focus. In December, I shifted back to trading BTC this year.
