Sometimes I feel that the crypto industry moves really fast, but not many have lasted 13 years.
Seeing Gate's 13th anniversary event gives me some reflection — from initially being just a crypto asset platform, to now gradually bringing in traditional assets like stocks, precious metals, and indices, it has essentially evolved from being a "trading platform" to more like becoming a new asset gateway.
Especially in this recent AI wave, many places are still stuck in concepts, but Gate has already started truly integrating GateAI, GateRouter and similar tools into practical use cases. This kind of "infrastructure feel" will become increasingly obvious.
50 million users, 4500+ assets — these numbers are of course important, but what's more interesting is the direction it's moving in:
On one hand it's moving towards TradFi, on the other hand towards AI, with a unified platform in between to connect them.
In a sense, this pathway is quite clear —
It's not just about competing on features, but about redefining "how assets are connected".
13 years isn't just a milestone, it's more like a watershed moment.
What comes next might truly enter a stage where: platforms are no longer just serving users, but becoming "the hub of assets and intelligence".
