The previous trend-setting position was stopped out at breakeven, and I'm opening a new short position on the trend-setting level. I don't necessarily need 2188; if there's a bigger fluctuation, like going up to 2200, that would be an even better spot for the initial short, but generally I don't pursue this.
As long as it's higher than where I shorted, that's fine.
I'll do the livestream as usual on Sunday. 2400 is something we've been advocating for and being cautious about over the past month and a half. What we're mainly focused on is when positive catalysts concentrate and erupt—generally when we reach that level, we can short at the initial position first, then add to the position within the predicted range. I know some people insist on saying I want to short all the way to the 2400 sweet spot, which is the same psychology as those wanting to wait for the lowest point to long spot-buy, and it's not very meaningful.
Only high leverage cares about good or bad positioning, because any small fluctuation can trigger liquidation, so it must be closely monitored. But long-term positions don't need to be this way.
