I just noticed an interesting thing on CoinMarketCap — Cardano and Midnight show completely opposite community sentiment trends, even though they are part of the same ecosystem.
According to CoinMarketCap data, ADA ranks 9th among the most bullish assets with 50% positive votes, while NIGHT is in 5th place among the most bearish tokens with the same 50% negative sentiment. This is truly a contrasting picture. ADA has increased by 1.28% in the last 24 hours to $0.25, while NIGHT has shown a +2.13% rise to $0.04 — prices are rising, but sentiments are diverging.
Interestingly, the bearish forecast for NIGHT did not prevent it from growing faster than ADA. Of course, sentiment often influences short-term movements, but something here doesn’t add up. Maybe investors simply don’t understand that NIGHT is not a competitor to Cardano, but its partner chain for privacy. As developers say, they complement each other.
ADA is still above key technical levels, and if the sentiment holds, it might try to move higher. But I keep in mind that CoinMarketCap data is just one indicator. It’s worth watching this rivalry further.
