A poker player and cryptocurrency trader named Wesley said he posted something worrying—he said a mysterious tracking device was detected on his iPhone. Apparently, he didn’t pay much attention at first, but when he checked his car, he found a tracking device hidden inside the engine hood... it’s terrifying.
Wesley says he’s been involved in poker and crypto trading for years, so he might become a target of crime. That’s why he used social media to alert people in the industry, urging them not to ignore iPhone notifications. It also looks like he’s already reported it to the police.
ZachXBT, who’s known as a “blockchain detective,” also responded, and reportedly offered to support a report to the FBI Los Angeles field office. Wesley replied that he’s a little scared but thanked him for the help. I wonder if incidents like this happen only because of the crypto industry. Everyone should be careful.
