RAVEU's high-level shrinking volume is extremely severe. You can now short directly; there is no more room for upward movement, and no one is buying anymore.

What I’m more afraid of is a sudden pump to clear out short positions; decreasing volume doesn’t mean it can’t spike.

Saying "no one is buying" is a bit too absolute, right? Share the on-chain data.

High-level shrinking volume = bullish exhaustion; I agree with this logic, but "no room for upward movement" also depends on previous highs and the chip structure.

Remember to set a stop-loss when shorting; small-cap stocks like RAVEU are favorites for sweeping.

Which cycle did you base your conclusion on? 1H, 4H, or daily chart?

It could also be the main force keeping control of the market with reduced volume, moving sideways to accumulate; just shorting directly could easily get you ground down to liquidation.

I prefer to wait and see, rather than take on high volatility to open a short position, even if it means missing out on some gains.

Do you have a position screenshot? I usually don't follow slogans like calling for a short.

If no one is buying, then liquidity will be even worse, and it might be difficult to unwind a short position; watch out for slippage.

It is recommended to look at trading volume, order book depth, and position changes together; relying solely on decreasing volume is not enough, especially when a reversal occurs immediately after news hits.
