Experiencing a burning sensation from cold things is really uncomfortable, isn't it? Recently, I tried various desensitizing toothpastes, and I realized that even over-the-counter products can have quite different effects.
For recommended sensitivity relief, choosing a toothpaste that contains both aluminum lactate and potassium nitrate is key. When these two ingredients are included, they seem to prevent sensitivity from different angles. Products like Recal Sensitive and GUM Procare Hyper Sensitive contain both, and I can really feel the difference after using them.
Another surprisingly important factor is the fluoride concentration. Picking a toothpaste with 1450ppm fluoride allows you to prevent cavities while caring for sensitivity—double benefits. There are also options without abrasives, so especially during sensitive times, it's better to be cautious.
Personally, I found that products like Nama-Ha d and Platinum Protect EX are easy to use. They don’t have an odd taste, and they leave a fresh feeling after brushing. If you're struggling with sensitivity, I think it’s a good idea to choose one based on your own dental condition.
