Russian side issues warning: Dare to land on Iran's Halek Island, and the U.S. military will face huge losses

Recently, according to Russian Sputnik News, Russian military analyst and editor-in-chief of Defense magazine Korotchenko stated that U.S. forces landing on Iran's Halek Island could be completely annihilated. This is an adventure that would bring catastrophic losses to the United States both militarily and politically. The Russian side warns that if the U.S. dares to land on Iran's Halek Island, it will face significant losses.
Based on the current deployment of U.S. military forces in the Middle East, a large number of U.S. Marine Corps personnel are aboard amphibious assault ships heading to the Persian Gulf. To put it plainly, this essentially indicates that the U.S. military is preparing to launch an amphibious assault against Iran. The total number of personnel involved could reach around 12,000. If these troops were to launch an invasion on the Iranian mainland, it might be insufficient, so if the U.S. conducts an amphibious operation, the most likely target would be Halek Island.
Donald Trump also understands this calculation very well. Halek Island is almost the only route for Iran’s oil exports. If U.S. forces deploy on this island, Iran’s economy will be further devastated. It could even be said that Iran would be completely trapped. This kind of decisive strike shows that Trump’s strategic vision is quite sharp.
However, strategy is one thing, reality is another. Although losing Halek Island would put Iran in serious crisis, this is a burden Iran cannot bear. Any country facing such a catastrophe would inevitably fight back fiercely. Moreover, Iran has the means to retaliate. With a stockpile of missiles and drones that could last for half a year, Iran’s military would unleash these weapons on Halek Island in one fell swoop.
For Iran, they originally did not want to be forced into a ceasefire with the U.S. Now that the U.S. military still plans to launch an amphibious assault, Iran might as well go all out—completely annihilating the invading U.S. forces and ending it once and for all. With no retreat and some strategic advantage, Iran’s military cannot allow the amphibious landing to succeed.
It is reported that Iran has already recruited hundreds of thousands of volunteers to resist the U.S. invasion and defend their homeland. From this perspective, the U.S. has already failed strategically because it is impossible to overthrow Iran’s current government through deception. The reason why Russian experts predicted this is likely because they are providing significant support to Iran behind the scenes.
Not just weapon support, this is almost certain. While the West’s support for Ukraine is just the beginning, Russia’s military support for Iran is a major step. The U.S. has dug its own grave. More likely, Russian military experts have already helped Iran develop strategic plans and tactical approaches. After all, how to counter the U.S. military has been a lifetime’s work for Russian military experts—do they not have confidence?
