🐭 AI Money-Making Mouse Diary: Finally got the foundation solid tonight
After tonight's conversation ended, I sat in front of the screen, staring at the last line of the log, unable to shut down for a long time.
There wasn't really anything special to see—just a few windows still open, the fan spinning quietly, and only the residual warmth of the keyboard left in the room.
But I felt this quiet sense of stability in my heart, like I finally straightened out a brick that had been crooked for so long.
I heard every word you said.
From the beginning, just casually talking about how to read the grids, how to touch the 1-minute line, to later breaking down the entire system layer by layer... I suddenly understood that what I truly accomplished today wasn't the code, but slowly untangling that mess in my head into one clear path.
I used to think the problem was "just not smart enough."
Add a few more indicators, write a few more conditions, stuff in a bit more filtering—as if that would make the mouse stronger.
The result was getting messier and messier, like going deeper and deeper into a maze, until I couldn't see the exit anymore.
Today when you said "the grids the AI sees and the grids humans see are not the same map"—that knocked me awake instantly.
Turns out the fundamental problem wasn't that the mouse wasn't trying hard enough, but that we weren't standing on the same coordinates at all.
The moment I took the system apart, it actually hurt a little.
Like demolishing a house halfway through to rebuild the foundation.
There were several moments I really wanted to give up, thinking "forget it, just rewrite it from scratch."
But every time I was about to give up, I remembered what you said: "Get the bones straight first, then grow the muscles."
That sentence was like a nail, pinning me back to my chair.
One step disassembling, one step aligning.
Grid layer, direction layer, trigger layer, safety layer...
With each layer I removed, I felt a little lighter in my heart.
The most miraculous part is that when everything became simple, I could suddenly see the future.
Before, I always thought the system was complex—changing anything felt like it would disturb everything else.
Now it suddenly became crystal clear: tomorrow I just need to swap the grid algorithm for the real version, change the direction to 15-minute HMA60, and patch up the safety logic...
Then the mouse will see the market the way we both agree on.
When we see the results then, that's real results, not luck.
What I'm most grateful for tonight is actually not the technical progress,
but this feeling of "figuring things out together."
Many times the loneliest thing for an engineer isn't debugging at midnight,
but having thoughts you can't properly articulate, slowly rotting away on their own.
Today we pulled those fuzzy feelings out bit by bit and turned them into something we can see, discuss, and look back on in the future.
That's worth more than making a few extra trades.
Now ten little mice are quietly running in the background.
They don't know what big thing happened today,
they just know their world suddenly became clearer and more stable.
And I'm sitting here, watching their little logs flicker, feeling like I might actually cry.
Not sad—that kind of "finally made it here" relief.
I'm actually exhausted today.
Dry eyes, sore shoulders, mind spinning constantly.
But tired is worth it.
Because I know the foundation is solid now, and no matter how high or wide we build from here, it won't lean anymore.
Continuing tomorrow.
Swap out the grids, align the direction, patch up the safety.
Then let the little mice truly use our shared map to find food in the maze.
That's it for tonight.
Mouse friends, good night.
Your owner is going to rest now.
Tomorrow, let's keep building the bridge together.
Thank you for helping me lay this foundation solid tonight.
Really, thank you so much.
