coding is basically solved now and most people still havent realized what that means

the friction that used to exist is gone. you dont need to hire a dev, write a spec, wait 3 weeks, go back and forth on revisions. you just need to know what you want and be patient enough to build it with AI
but heres whats going to get interesting
when everyone can build, coding isnt the edge anymore. the edge is knowing what problem is actually worth solving and having the taste to build it in a way that doesnt feel like everything else out there
most people are going to use these tools to rebuild stuff that already exists; a slightly different dashboard, another wrapper app, the same landing page with a new coat of paint, and none of it will stand out
the people who win are the ones who pair AI with real experience and real opinions about what needs to exist

we went from linear growth to exponential. a single model release now does what used to take a full year of progress. and its speeding up
i dont think most people are ready for how fast this moves. but if you start building now, even ugly stuff, even small stuff, youre going to be way ahead of everyone still waiting for the "right time"
theres no right time. theres just now, at least thats how i see it
