Sometimes the way technology truly changes the world is not by being faster, but by lasting longer.

Blockchain solved the trust problem of value, but the problem of information preservation has never been completely solved.
Many Web3 projects still rely on traditional servers for data storage, and once the team disappears, the content disappears with it.
The emergence of @Permaweb_DAO gave me the first glimpse of a more long-term internet vision.
Permaweb DAO's goal is to promote the development of the Permaweb ecosystem by supporting developers and creators in building applications on the Arweave network through DAO mechanisms.
These applications leverage permanent storage mechanisms, enabling web pages, media files, and programs to exist long-term, accessible to anyone.
At the same time, the DAO model allows community members to participate collectively in building, such as developing tools, creating content, and promoting the ecosystem, while earning rewards through token incentives.
This experience is actually reminiscent of the open spirit of the early internet—not platforms determining content, but communities building the network together.
As more and more applications are deployed on Permaweb, the internet may take on a new form: a network that truly never disappears.
