VITALIK PREPARING ETHEREUM FOR QUANTUM THREAT 👀🤯🔥
Vitalik Buterin recently shared a roadmap to make Ethereum resilient against potential quantum computing threats. He identified four vulnerable areas: consensus signatures, data availability, user wallet signatures, and certain zero-knowledge proofs.
The plan proposes switching to quantum-safe hash-based signatures, adopting STARKs for proofs, enabling native account abstraction, and using protocol-level aggregation to reduce costs and enhance security over time.
