Recently, I saw many people saying that Lao Gao and Xiao Mo divorced, which has caused the channel to go several months without updates. I don't know if it's true or not, but I increasingly realize that when it comes to entrepreneurship or making money, you really can't rely on partners. You can only be a lone wolf. In 2016-2017, I left a company in Shanghai and partnered with a wealthy second-generation individual and his friends to start a business. We initially agreed that I would invest my skills, but then I was asked to put in money as well. I thought since we were all starting the business together, I should contribute too. In the end, not only did one of the partners embezzle and drain the company, but when someone wanted to acquire the project, others opposed it, feeling the offer was too low and unwilling to sell. In the end, I didn't get a single cent back. Since then, I've mostly worked alone. If I needed help, I would form a temporary team, complete a project, and then disband. The combination of Lao Gao and Xiao Mo is actually quite awkward. You can't guarantee they'll stay together forever, and the workload on the channel is mostly handled by Lao Gao alone. Xiao Mo is already quite wealthy, so how long her enthusiasm for running the channel can last is also questionable.
