Illinois proposes a State-Level Bitcoin Community Reserve Act
On February 8, Illinois proposed the State Bitcoin Community Reserve Act earlier this week, which will establish a state government-operated Bitcoin multi-signature cold storage project, starting with the Altgeld Bitcoin Reserve. The bill states that future BTC can only be traded or sold when authorized by new legislation.
