BTC, ETH spot trading experienced abnormal fluctuations at the 1-minute level this morning, with single-minute amplitude exceeding 3% at one point.

ChainCatcher reports that according to Gate Market Data, BTC and ETH spot prices experienced significant abnormal fluctuations between 00:05 and 00:17 this morning. There were multiple instances where the one-minute amplitude exceeded 1%, with some moments reaching as high as 3%.

Market analysis suggests that such high-frequency, continuous short-term sharp fluctuations may be related to malfunctions in market maker grid trading strategies, which amplified price volatility during periods of relatively concentrated liquidity.

BTC-2,42%
ETH-3,68%
