TrendForce, a global market intelligence firm, has released its February panel price trend forecast. TV panel prices are expected to continue rising, while certain sizes of monitor panels will see price increases, and laptop panel prices are expected to decline. The report states that in February, demand for TV panels remains relatively stable. Additionally, panel manufacturers have clearly indicated they will implement capacity adjustments of 5 to 7 days during the Lunar New Year holiday. The average utilization rate for February is expected to adjust by approximately 10% compared to January, which is likely to support a balanced supply and demand, as well as help drive up TV panel prices. Currently, it is estimated that TV panel prices in February may show a comprehensive upward trend, with 32-inch, 43-inch, and 50-inch panels each expected to increase by $1, while 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch panels are projected to rise by $2 each.
