Norway’s manufacturing production decreased 0.1% month-over-month in December 2025, following a downwardly revised 2% growth in the previous month. Production of food, beverage and tobacco (-0.7% vs 0.8% in November) and machinery and equipment (-0.8% vs 1.1%) dropped, while growth in the manufacture of refined petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical (1.3% vs 5.6%) and ships, boats and oil platforms (2.4% vs 4.9%) decelerated. On a yearly basis, manufacturing output rose 1.2% in December.
