Solana memecoin launch platform Pump.fun has acquired the trading execution terminal Vyper to enhance its infrastructure. The Vyper team and technology will be integrated into Pump.fun's product suite, and its infrastructure will be migrated to Pump.fun's Terminal platform, with Vyper eventually ceasing operations. The acquisition aims to strengthen Terminal's support for EVM (including Base), enabling faster cross-chain transactions. Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen stated that despite the challenging market environment, this move is still part of the company's active expansion plans, focusing on the development of the core platform, mobile app, and Terminal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
