KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced on January 31 that it will resume flights to several Middle Eastern countries following an evaluation of the current safety situation and operational feasibility.
The airline stated that flights to Tel Aviv, Israel, will recommence on February 2, while flights to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will resume on February 1. Previously, KLM had already restarted flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The airline emphasized that it will continue to closely monitor regional security conditions and adjust its flight operations accordingly. On January 23, KLM had suspended flights to multiple countries in the Middle East due to geopolitical concerns.
