Abstract generation in progress

The MilkyWay project has reached its final stage, completing the distribution of the protocol’s last revenues before permanently closing its operations. The community received 92,708 USDC, which were converted from accumulated fees in the form of TIA, INIT, and BABY tokens.

Details of the Final Distribution of MilkyWay

According to information from NS3.AI, the distribution benefited multiple categories of participants in the MilkyWay ecosystem. Holders of MILK tokens, stakers, and liquidity providers were the eligible recipients of this last fund allocation. The protocol set a minimum threshold of 1 USDC to access the distribution, ensuring that only active participants received the accumulated rewards.

Reasons for Closure and Market Outlook

The permanent closure of MilkyWay responds to broader market factors. The adoption of DeFi solutions in the project was significantly lower than initial projections, which, combined with delays in funding strategies, led to the decision to discontinue operations. This closure marks the end of a cycle for MilkyWay, with its final act being the equitable distribution of available funds among its user community before the definitive closure.
