After seeing the news last month about Dusk collaborating with European exchange NPEX on RWA, I decided to try it out myself. Over the past month, the privacy features have truly been the biggest surprise for me.

When enabling private transfers, only the occurrence of the transaction is recorded on-chain; the amount and recipient address are completely hidden. Compared to the transparent transactions on other public chains, this is a significant improvement. No more exposing holding data on block explorers like Ethereum.

The operation process is actually quite simple: buy tokens on the exchange → transfer to Dusk wallet (make sure to select the correct network) → connect to the staking page → choose an appropriate APY and delegate to a validator node. The entire process takes no more than 15 minutes. Afterwards, you can see your staking rewards gradually accumulate every day. This feeling of "assets earning interest" is quite reassuring.

Looking at the current ecosystem, DeFi applications are indeed limited in number, but since DuskEVM is compatible with Solidity, many projects from the Ethereum ecosystem might migrate. Beginners are advised to master basic operations first and avoid complex decentralized applications for now.

To stay updated on progress, the official blog and Discord are important sources of information. Mainnet upgrades, Hyperstaking mechanisms, and platforms like Zedger will all influence market expectations. Short-term price fluctuations are inevitable, but from a longer-term perspective, the development potential of the compliant privacy track is quite substantial.

If you're new to this project, consider a phased strategy: half of your position for staking and earning rewards, and the other half to stay flexible and observe market trends. Dusk may not be a project that makes you rich overnight, but as a potential underlying public chain that could be adopted by institutional-level players, its long-term potential is worth paying attention to.
