fundamentally speaking, this is exactly what i've been drilling into my students' heads for months now—simplicity > complexity every single time. ethereum nailed it, cross seems to get it too. the real winners aren't the chains trying to do everything at once, they're the ones saying "here's the foundation, you build the rest." tbh this is how actual adoption happens, not through marketing noise

Simplicity is strength, and this is the true aesthetic of architecture. Ethereum's "universal computer" logic is indeed impressive, and Cross has also learned well. The more streamlined the core mechanism, the easier it is to innovate. But to be honest, what truly retains developers are those chains that effectively hide complexity, rather than those that are flashy and superficial.
