Recently, I came across an interesting Layer 1 project that is specifically optimized for USDT payment scenarios. I heard that transfers are completely fee-free, with confirmation speeds ridiculously fast—到账 in just milliseconds. The tech stack is compatible with EVM, making it easy for developers to get started, and the ecosystem has plenty of room for expansion.

Support from Tether official definitely adds a lot of credibility and security. The XPL token is designed with a dual mechanism of staking and Gas fee discounts, which is attractive to long-term participants.

From a market perspective, stablecoin payments have always been a pain point—fees, confirmation speed, and cross-chain compatibility are all bottlenecks. If this solution can truly address these issues, there’s real potential in cross-border payments and institutional settlements. The next step is to see if the ecosystem applications can keep up; no matter how impressive the project is, without applications to support it, it’s all for nothing.

The promise of zero fees has been heard quite a bit, but the key still depends on actual trading volume; otherwise, it's all just talk on paper.

Zero cost? Well, don't get too excited yet. We all know that there is no "truly" zero cost in Web3... it depends on the real data from the mainnet.

Zero fees? Sounds great, but I just want to know how validators make a living... Tether backing is good, but I've seen too many of these "perfect solutions."

Zero fees sound unbelievable, where does the money come from...

Zero fees sound great, but projects like these usually can't escape the cold start curse; if the ecosystem doesn't take off, it's all just empty talk.

Zero fees? I have to nitpick here. According to the white paper, that cost is actually shifted into the staking mechanism— from a Token economics perspective, participants still have to pay an opportunity cost. If this assumption holds, then it's not truly zero fees. Whether ecological applications can keep up is the real critical issue. Governance proposals show that most L1 projects die in the application drought within the first two years. It’s worth noting that Tether backing ≠ project survival.

Zero fees sound great, but in practice, it's a different story. Instant arrival in milliseconds isn't surprising; the key is whether the ecosystem survives or not.

Zero fees? Millisecond-level? That's a bit exaggerated. Let's see when it goes live on the mainnet.
