I suddenly realized a truth. Instead of clinging desperately to a coin that can never be unlocked, repeatedly hoping for a miracle to happen, it's better to shift your focus to other opportunities and use new gains to recover previous losses.

This is the true trading mindset—not being hostage to sunk costs. Many people fall into a strange cycle: knowing that a coin can't turn around in the short term, yet they keep waiting and hoping to break even someday. And what’s the result? Year after year, opportunities appear elsewhere one after another, but they keep fixated on that dead end.

I now realize that this is the fundamental reason why I’ve been unable to make money. Letting go of the obsession with hopelessly breaking even and seeking truly promising assets—such a mindset shift might be the beginning of profitability. Instead of waiting, it’s better to act.

That's so true, I was just like that.

Damn, that's why I'm still losing money, holding on to those crappy coins all the time.

Good morning. The realization at 3 a.m. indicates that you have finally understood the rules of this game — other people's midnight arbitrage opportunities are just your sunk cost traps.

It should have been thought of this way a long time ago. How many people are still stubbornly holding onto trapped coins?

Damn, that's a very clear way of putting it—it's just too hard to sell at a loss.

You're right, cutting losses is really much better than stubbornly holding on.

It's about time to wake up; clinging to a single coin is suicide.
