Many people enter the crypto world hoping to get rich overnight, but the result is often account zeroing. I have seen too many stories like this. $AXS
A friend came to me at the beginning of the year with $1,500, upset over previous losses and wanting to quickly recover. I didn't tell him any moving average theories, just shared a few survival rules learned from countless failures. Three months later, his account reached $45,000, and he never got liquidated.
**The key is this methodology:**
**Divide the account into three parts, each operating independently**
Split the principal into three portions, each $500, completely isolated, no inter-transfer. The first part is for short-term trading, opening at most two positions per day, then closing the software after trading; the second part remains idle, only considering entering when the weekly chart shows a clear bullish pattern and key levels are broken with volume; otherwise, stay out and observe; the third part is for life-saving, used to add positions during extreme market volatility to protect the principal from total loss.
**Only follow a trending market segment**
If the daily moving averages are not in a bullish state? Don’t act. When the market volume breaks previous highs and the daily close is stable? Then try small positions. When profits reach 30% of the principal, take half off the table; for the remaining part, set a 10% trailing stop to lock in gains. This may sound conservative, but it’s much better than most people ending up losing money.
**Emotional management is more important than choosing coins**
Set a stop-loss at 3% before entering; if hit, close automatically—no negotiations. When profits reach 10%, move the stop-loss to the cost price, so at worst, you won’t lose money. Force close your computer at midnight every night; if you can’t sleep, uninstall the app to prevent impulsive late-night trades. Markets are daily, but once the account is wiped out, there’s no second chance.
First, get these basic rules solid; then study wave theories and technical indicators. Staying alive and exiting the market is the first lesson in the crypto world.
