The true meme often originates in that fleeting moment—no script, no design, yet by chance, the right time, place, and people come together, instantly carving it into eternity.
On the evening of January 14th, a founder of a major exchange held a Chinese AMA live broadcast on the platform square. Over a hundred thousand people were online simultaneously, and the entire live session lasted one hour.
Community guests took turns asking questions, all of which were old topics—industry trends, market movements, track choices, how to make money. Serious and work-oriented.
As the live broadcast was nearing its end, the last questioner was a woman. After asking her question, she suddenly turned to the camera and said the final words: "Shan Ye Wan Li, you are my joy hidden in the breeze. I’ve been following you on Twitter."
The founder replied, "Thanks for your support, let’s chat again next month," and the broadcast ended. Later, he also tweeted that he didn’t actually hear clearly what she was saying at the time.
And so, this sudden poetic confession, born out of nowhere, unexpectedly became the only and biggest meme in a serious work discussion watched by over a hundred thousand people simultaneously.
Compared to the nearly hour-long rational analysis earlier, no one remembers that anymore. Only this sister’s bravery, her unique accent, and that poetic confession— all were recorded, becoming the ultimate memorable point of the entire live broadcast.
