The metaphor of "knocking on the door" is brilliant, but the reality I see is that most projects can't even get through the door, let alone run out of it. Those that truly survive have their own strategies; it's not just about fundraising hype. The projects eliminated in this round will probably pile up again. You're right, holding onto a few truly good things all the time is definitely more comfortable than switching every day. Ecosystem support isn't given for free; you still have to tough it out in the market later. A reliable team is really valuable; everything else is just superficial.
