$ETH The story of this wave of market movement is actually quite simple, but there are many details.
On January 14th, there was a direct violent surge, jumping from over 3100 to above 3350 in one go, a gain of over 10%. The current question is: is this a real breakout or a false breakout?
**What do the bulls say?** The weekly chart has already stabilized, the daily moving averages are aligned in a straight line upward, and the short-term explosive power is indeed very strong. The long-term oscillation range (3150-3200) has been broken, and such a breakout level usually indicates some market movement.
**But the bears also have a point.** On the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, decreasing volume and stagnation are beginning to appear, MACD shows signs of a death cross at high levels, and the price's positive divergence from MA25 is quite large. In plain terms, a short-term pullback is needed to release pressure.
So, the trend has indeed reversed to bullish, but rushing straight up at this position isn't very profitable. The market hasn't run away; instead of chasing highs and getting caught, it's better to re-enter during a pullback. If BTC volatility increases, it will intensify this pullback pressure, which is something to watch out for.
The win rate for this opportunity is still quite good, roughly 4 stars. The key is how to enter—don't chase high, wait for the right opportunity.
