Recently reviewed my trading performance and found many issues. Honestly, my current trading ability is at most the level of 100U, but I always struggle to hold back, frequently opening positions, which is a fatal flaw. It seems that mature traders share a common trait—80% of the time spent observing and waiting, only 20% actually trading.

The two biggest sources of losses are: first, stubbornly holding onto positions without willing to cut losses; second, counter-trading. Especially when seeing high points and wanting to short, but often ending up shorting at the halfway mark, and finally being forced to accept losses. I now realize that riding the trend is not just a slogan; it requires a strict trading logic to discipline oneself.

Additionally, I noticed a pattern—market fluctuations during the day are actually quite limited, with major changes mainly driven by the influence of the US stock market. Particularly after the US stock opens at 10:30, and around midnight, coins like SOL often experience intense volatility. Understanding this rhythm is much more useful than blindly and frequently trading.

Oh no, isn't this talking about me, the representative of the impulsive hand party?

Frequent trading really is the poison of trading. I lost money this way too. Now I've learned to be patient, and my account has become more active as a result.

lmao "100U trading skill" but frequently opening orders? actually the math doesn't check out here—your problem isn't about timing, it's that there's no real risk management framework. The 80/20 rule sounds good but it's a facade; what's crucial is having a strict exit logic, otherwise observing for a long time is pointless.
