#代币空投与分配 Seeing Pacifica's recent fee halving promotion, my first reaction was to calmly hit the pause button.
Many people are attracted by the figure "point redemption cost from $0.38 to $0.2" and are eager to try high-frequency trading. But I want to remind you that behind the cheap acquisition cost, there are two easily overlooked risks.
First, the airdrop expectation is uncertain. The information mentions "assuming... each point can be exchanged for approximately 1.136 tokens," which involves many assumptions. Historically, many platforms' point redemption ratios have been lower than expected, and changes to airdrop plans are not uncommon. Treating this uncertainty as guaranteed profit essentially means trading risk for reward.
Second, the trap of high-frequency trading is even more worth cautioning against. To lower point costs through frequent trading means you have to endure more slippage, volatility, and psychological stress. Even with the fee halved, the hidden costs of frequent trading could offset this benefit.
My advice is, if you're already trading on Pacifica, participating in the promotion is fine; but don't change your trading strategy just for points. Maintain your original position management rhythm and risk control—this is the long-term, steady approach. Airdrop opportunities come and go, but falling into the trap of overtrading is the real loss.
Being steady is not about missing opportunities, but about finding your own balance between opportunity and risk.
