Star Atlas continuously releases UE5 engine update patches, and the second wave of significant improvements arrived at the beginning of 2026. Highlights of the Siege mode optimization include: the system has now fixed the target locking mechanism for destroying ships—players can no longer lock onto ships that have been destroyed, preventing accidental interference during battles. Additionally, the status bar of destroyed ships has been improved and now correctly hides, maintaining clarity of battlefield information. These seemingly minor adjustments reflect the development team's meticulous refinement of the gaming experience, creating a smoother combat process for players.

The development team finally remembered to fix this thing. How long has the bug that locked the ship been going on...

ngl the target lock fix is just basic ui hygiene, shouldn't have taken this long tbh... but yeah, state management clarity matters for pvp mechanics i guess. network topology of destroyed vessels still seems kinda messy from a systemic standpoint though?

The detail optimization is indeed well done, but why is the update frequency so high? Are you rushing to meet a deadline?

Haha, finally fixed this locking bug... I was wondering why I kept shooting at the already sunk ship.

Details determine success or failure. This round of optimization has some substance; I finally don't have to be fooled by ghost ships in battles anymore.
