It's the old trick of big players eating the meat while small investors drink the soup again; there's really nothing new.

This is a typical case of healthy factor differentiation. The liquidation price of large accounts is far from the market price, and retail investors are being liquidated in a chain with no one to rescue them. Systemic risk has never been equitable.
