I think many people have overly extended expectations about going spot trading. There are always voices in the market saying "Waiting for spot trading is the end of it," but this logic has a problem—if everyone treats going spot as the ultimate bullish signal, it might actually indicate that this moment is likely a temporary peak.
Assets that can sustain long-term growth won't rely solely on going spot as their only expectation support. This should just be a milestone in the development process, not the end of the entire story. Conversely, overestimating expectations for this can easily cause people to miss other possibilities. The market's ups and downs have their own logic and won't remain unchanged just because of a certain event.

That's right, the hype around spot trading going live has been overly sanctified... When that day actually comes, it might be the time with the most bagholders.

That's right, spot trading is definitely not the end goal. But if you really want to pinpoint the reason retail investors get liquidated, it's right here.

That's right, the day spot trading goes live might actually be a signal of a sell-off, and this kind of consensus is the most dangerous.

Focusing solely on the moment of spot listing makes it easier to miss out.
