Prediction markets usually feel like something you have to make a separate effort for. Different apps. Different wallets. A lot of friction for something that should be simple.
What stood out to me about @rainbowdotme is that it didn’t try to reinvent prediction markets.
It just put them where they naturally belong.
When markets live inside the same wallet where assets already sit, participation stops feeling like a “trade” and starts feeling like a normal reaction to what’s happening in the world.
You see the news, you form an opinion, and you can act on it immediately.
That small shift changes behavior more than any feature announcement ever could.
I didn’t have to learn a new interface or think like a trader. I just opened Rainbow and the markets were there, moving in real time alongside everything else.
That’s the real win here.
Rainbow isn’t asking people to adopt something new. It’s quietly fitting into how people already think and act.
And that’s usually where the most durable products come from.
