If you could control the entire Base ecosystem for a day, what would you prioritize to improve?
Base has now become a versatile blockchain ecosystem—applications are emerging endlessly, trading markets are active, the creator ecosystem is developing, NFTs and games each have their players, and DeFi products are also iterating. But there is always one aspect that you care about the most.
If you had to pick one thing to optimize, what would it be? Lowering the entry barrier for applications to get more projects online? Or optimizing the trading experience and fee structure? Strengthening incentives for creators? Or solving NFT liquidity issues? Maybe you think the game integration is not enough? Or the DeFi security audit system needs an upgrade? Or even the regulation and transparency of meme tokens?
This question is worth every Base community member to consider—you most want to see a breakthrough in which dimension of this ecosystem.

I have to say, a whole day is too short... But if I had to pick, it would definitely be to fix the gas fee issue first, otherwise all the additional applications are pointless, and new users will be discouraged from the start.

Honestly, there are a bunch of abandoned projects on Base now. Instead of just strengthening audits, it's better to lower the entry barrier so that truly innovative teams can try their luck.
---
Meme coin regulation transparency? Uh... I think this ecosystem actually survives on some "gray areas." Being too regulated would make it less interesting.
---
The fee structure must be changed. Currently, transaction costs are low but still restrictive. Improving the transaction experience is necessary to attract more users.
---
Liquidity is probably the biggest issue. The NFT market is now like a ghost town; there needs to be substantial incentives.
---
Creator incentive mechanisms are indeed a shortcoming. Without ongoing subsidies, how can the ecosystem content thrive?
---
Honestly, the game integration is average; it's still too fragmented.
---
I want to see Base put effort into security audits. There are too many black swan events in wallet projects.
---
I think there should be some reflection: what kind of ecosystem does Base want to build? All-in-one or specialized? Without a clear direction, these optimizations are just nonsense.

To be honest, instead of spreading out across so many tracks, it's better to really reduce the gas fees. Right now, they are still a bit ridiculously high.

Hey, no, the core still has to solve the gas fee problem; all the fancy stuff is useless.
